FAQs
What life skills can Apex Care Services help me or my family member develop?
Is life-skills development funded by the NDIS?
Yes, this support is usually funded under Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living or Improved Life Choices, depending on your goals. We can help you understand where this service fits in your plan.
Do sessions take place at home or in the community?
Both options are available. We can support you at home, in learning environments, or out in the community wherever skill-building is most effective and comfortable.
How long does it take to see progress?
Progress depends on the individual, their learning style and their goals. Some participants notice improvements quickly, while others may benefit from longer-term support. We track progress and adjust plans regularly.
Do you offer group life-skills programs?
Yes, we offer small group sessions that encourage social learning, teamwork, communication, and community participation. These programs are great for building confidence and social skills.
